Small, cute single person rental basement apartment 5min from downtown West Asheville. Stairs from the parking area access this basement apartment. 1 bedroom, 1 full bathroom. Storage shed can fit bikes and other items. Small storage room in basement (not pictured). Decent size, secluded back yard with small fire pit and chairs. Due to the upstairs tenant working from home and being elderly, a quiet, respectful, and warm hearted tenant is kindly preferred. Utilities are split between upstairs tenant (she's a wonderful, kind, and quiet older woman with a cute small dog) and averages $120 in Summer months and $160 in winter months. Landlord sends photo of utility bills for proof of bill amount and usage. No washer and dryer are in the downstairs apartment. Landlord does all yard maintenance. Note, picture of house front is upstairs apartment. Last month's rent due at move in. Apartment will be unfurnished but current tenant said he might leave some items...this will be known closer to his move out date. A year lease is an option too but 6mo is the shortest I'll offer. Due to these weird covid times, I will have current tenant take video of apartment which I'll distribute to interested parties. Please know this is a cozy and small apartment.
