This home was built in 1963 and is a daylight rambler. It has vaulted ceilings with car decking (finished, tongue and grooved boards) that are beautifully finished. All of the infrastructure has been updated in the past 4 years: New composite roof, top of the line Thermopride Oil heater, GE 60 Gallon water heater, new electric panel including a 30amp external plug for generator use. We're going through each room and updating the house. We just completed an addition of 600 Square feet. This adds a brand new kitchen complete with Superior Cabinets, granite countertops, center island with eating bar, and GE Cafe series appliances. In the back of the addition, we also built a mud room where the boys can leave their shoes, back packs and baseball bags out of the way. Our deck is brand new and covers the entire back of the house. We enjoy sitting outside and entertaining on the 40' long deck! There is a 2 stall barn and the pasture is completely fenced and ready for horses or other barn animals. Neighborhood Description This is a very quiet neighborhood. There are very few houses on the street and is very private. Spring Lake is stocked with trout every year and is a favorite for local fishermen. It's not unusual to see bald eagles fly over the lake fishing for rainbow trout. Although the neighborhood is very secluded, it's only 5 miles from Maple Valley or Fairwood shopping centers. It's also close to 405 and Highway 18 so commuting to the eastside or Seattle is easy.
