Hello world, Me and one of my roommates are moving to a new place together, and looking for two people to take over the lease for two of the bedrooms in our garden level apartment on Addison St in Roscoe Village, starting Feb 1st. They say that value in real estate is all about location, location, location, and this apartment could not be in a better spot: the Brown line is a stone's throw from the front door, but just far enough that you don't have to worry about trains waking you up at night. The East-West Addison bus stops right in front of your door, and for all your North-South transit needs, the Damen Ave. bus is just a block away. Also on the block are two bars (one hipster hole-in-the-wall and one quiet tavern), a Thai/Japanese fusion restaurant (BYOB!) and a sex toy shop, if that's your thing. Trader Joe's is a 5-minute walk away, Jewel and Mariano's are somewhat farther. Also nearby is the Southport corridor with bars and shops galore. Overall this neighborhood is just beautiful, safe and quiet. As for the apartment itself: there are three comfy bedrooms (each of which has closet space and can fit a king/queen bed), one bathroom, and a common kitchen/living room area. One bedroom has a small walk-in closet space. There is also some additional storage space in the laundry room. Please note: this apartment could be charitably described as "cosy", so if you love to throw huge dinner parties, this is probably not the place for you. So, to summarize: Pros: fantastic location; hardwood floors; efficient central heating and cooling; dishwasher & laundry in building Cons: not a lot of natural light, no vaulted ceilings Send us an email to schedule a time to see the apartment!
