Emma Gomez park is right behind the adjacent apartments, with Boulder creek running through it, it's a nice spot with a lots of trees to meditate under, a paved sidewalk for cycling/jogging or just a pleasant place to sunbathe and picnic in the Summer! This apartment has been perfect for me (I'm a single woman in my mid 30s), never had any issues with safety or loud neighbors. Most everyone here are students, singles and couples in their 20s-30s. We look out for each other, but for the most part, folks keep to themselves. I love that I can walk alone in my neighborhood and feel safe any time of day and that all the amenities I need are just a 5 minute walk. There's a Sprouts grocery, Natural Grocers, Trader Joe's, Target and tons of other restaurants and shops within a 5 minute drive or 10 minute bike ride or 30 minute walk from your front door. Since I am leaving during my lease commitment I am looking for someone who wants to take over the lease starting May 1st (or sooner if you need it, I will be moving out by April 25th) and going until mid-July 2021. Cost & Application: The current rent is only $1095 (+ utilities) and is a BARGAIN in this neighborhood, you won't find anything under $1500 in the area for a 1 bedroom and some are upwards of $2000 in Whittier.Jackie is the name of the manager and will handle the paperwork if you decide to take over the lease.
