Sanders Point is a "hideaway", that is not known by many located right off Hwy 24 between Cape Carteret and Morehead City, so convenient but in its own world. The subdivision consists of approximately 35 homes on 2nd, 3rd and 4th row from the Bogue Sound, located directly across from Emerald Isle. The homeowners are a mix of retirees, families, second homeowners and individuals. The dues are only $100 annually and have been so for 10 years and the owners lend a helping hand to keep costs down in mowing the common areas and taking care of the subdivision's pier
