Designed by Emerson, the structure was part of the J.B Tileston House built in 1888 close to the present site. The original house was split in three and moved to it current locations around 1917. The main architectural features of #18 include the Mansard roof and the two story front bay. It has wooden floors throughout and a delightful garden with columned pergola.
