18 Forsythia Lane is the last house at the end of a short gravel drive. The property is secluded and quiet, but 2 minutes from the nearest grocery store and 12 minutes from downtown. The rental sits on a half-acre lot and includes the main floor of the house, which has two roughly equal-sized bedrooms, one bath, living and dining rooms and a kitchen. The basement is not included in the rental. This would be an excellent rental for two roommates or a small family. No pets. The property owner has a small garage space on the back of the house and will be present frequently during work days and very rarely on the weekends. The work is generally not loud, but it may not be a good work-from-home arrangement. Because of this unique arrangement, the successful rental candidate will start with a month-to-month lease. If after 6 months, both parties feel it's a good fit, the landlord may offer an annual lease agreement. Promising candidates must submit to a criminal background check, employment check, and must be in good standing with previous landlords. Rent includes Wi-Fi and water. Renter must pay 1/2 power bill each month by the 15th. The house is furnished as a short term rental including two king sized beds. The furniture can stay in the house or I can store it. Rent due each month on the 1st. Late on the 5th. Refundable deposit is due upon lease signing. Non-smokers only! This is a non-smoking, non-vaping property. Violation of this rule will be a breach of contract and reason to evict. If you're a smoker/vaper, please don't waste your time or mine.
