This house sits on our property in Big Lake, WA. It was once a small milking barn but we converted the space into a small cozy cottage with serene views of a garden filled with roses, lilacs and peonies, the lake and majestic mountains. 2. We have five dogs, they bark sometimes and enjoy running around on our 2.5 acres. This is also why we allow pets; we love ours and certain that you love yours, so bring them along! 3. We have ONE parking space for the cottage. 4. Looking for someone who wants to stay for at least a year, if not longer. We will NOT raise your rent as long as you are living here. 5. All utilities are included: gas, water, trash, internet, electricity, gardening and maintenance. We pride ourselves on keeping the property in pristine condition. We hope you feel the same. 6. Cottage is furnished but doesn't mean you have to keep everything. 7. For those of you who do not know their credit score we recommend credit karma.com. It's free and offers a lot of information to help you understand credit and how it works. 8. Unfortunately, we cannot offer storage other than the space under the stairs. If you need storage the following two places are within 5 miles of cottage: Big Lake Storage and Market College Way Storage 9. We are a couple in our late 50's and have owned this property for 20 years. The buildings were in deplorable condition and the grounds were nothing but grass, weeds and blackberry bushes. Storage under the stairs, Fan and light with remote control in upstairs bedroom, Lots of windows, luxury pull down window shades for ease of use throughout cottage. Large shared fenced yard available for pets. Private "Dog Park" behind cottage. Lie in a Hammack while your pooch frolics under the trees. In the evenings you can sit with your friends around the fire pit, drink your favorite beverage and make plans to kayak the next morning. (We have two kayaks complete with life jackets and paddles for your use). We are only 4 1/2 miles from adorable, Historic Mount Vernon. Breweries, antique shops, restaurants and Skagit River Walk a mere 10-15 minute drive.
