    What's special

Spectacular remodel! Beautiful Condo with Private Patio Awesome location~Walk to Shops & Max Neighborhood Description Irvington is one of my favorite neighborhoods. Many of the streets are lined with huge old trees, and there are some of the most beautiful historic homes in all of Portland- many built in the late 1800's and early 1900's- You can see some of these homes if you go to www.irvingtonhometour.com It is more of a conventional good family neighborhood- not trendy or artsy or alternative like some of Portland's other neighborhoods- eg Hawthorne, Mississippi and Alberta Arts. Irvington is south of Fremont , north of Broadway and between 7 th and 26 th NE. It's NE corner overlaps Alameda . It is bordered by Alameda to the east, Sullivan's Gulch to the south, Elliot to the west and Sabin to the north. And even though it is mostly residential, except for parks a school, and a few businesses on 15th- it is surrounded by the city life! Just go across the Broadway Bridge , and you are right in the middle of downtown Portland . Go east a little ways, and you are at Lloyd Center- a huge shopping mall with an indoor ice skating rink. Fremont is full of trendy shops, coffee houses and restaurants-even has a Wild Oats Natural Food Mart. www.wildoats.com/u/home and on NE Broadway you will find quite a few restaurants and shops- plus the Max- There's a Safeway grocery store on Broadway on the south border. NE Broadway also has the Rose Garden, the Convention Center, and lots more shops and cafes. And the Max! In fact, the Max is within walking distance of many of the homes in this neighborhood! Yet Irvington is an upscale, quiet neighborhood of tree lined streets and old historic homes. It is very hot in the marketplace of Portland- houses are in very high demand. It takes about 10 minutes to drive into downtown- Even less on the Max - which runs right along Broadway. You can even easily ride your bike into downtown. You can get info on the Max line at
