Our home sits well back from the road with trees and brush screening it for the most part, yet one can see down the driveway to the road from the front-oriented bedroom. We have added flowering plants and shrubs, including Hydrangeas and 12 David Austin English Roses as well as staked 8-foot-high wire fencing (to keep out the deer) in back around a large vegetable garden area.
