A place to call home, this lovely flat is ready for occupancy for the right person(s). The unit is in an owner occupied 2 family house right down from Union College. Features include 2 bedrooms, each with a cedar closet, a guest suite/office suite (you would need to see to get the full grasp of what i'm talking about), 1.5 baths, 12x22' living room, partially updated kitchen, laundry room with new machines, lots of closets, hardwood floors, crown molding and fresh paint throughout without a speck of 'renter's white' anywhere. As I said this is an owner occupied building (I live upstairs) so I am searching for the right tenant who will love and respect their new home as if it were their own. There will be a background check conducted as well as first and last months rent plus a security deposit due at lease signing. The doors and windows will be installed the week of the 18th and the apartment will be ready for occupancy any time.
There is a front porch with a bench with a small yard in the back. Tenant is not responsible for any yard work other then picking up after themselves. Parking is on street only, but there is never ever an issue finding parking. I'm not crazy about pets and any sort of excessive noise (music lovers are most welcome) or nonsense will not be tolerated.

I'm looking to start showing on Saturday and or Sunday. As I said the doors and windows are coming next week but whenever the lease is signed the new tenant is free to start moving in. Also, this is an old house...having said that, the plumbing, electrical and heating system were all updated, as well as some of the windows. However, as with any house built before 1978 lead paint was used. The entire house has been repainted with zero lead but the windows that were not replaced will still have lead...this is ONLY an issue for children or pregnant women.
This house was lovingly restored and I believe it features a nice mix of original features with some updated convenience. As I said important things like heating, windows, plumbing and electrical were updated, but I left things like the old school ceramic tile in the bathrooms, stainless steel counters in the kitchen and wood floors with patina. I also derived a neutral color scheme that doesn't scream APARTMENT but rather, HOME.
Month to month lease. Tenant pays one national grid bill and cable/internet. No outdoor maintenance required. On street parking
