The house was originally constructed in 1969. It had a new roof and all of the windows replaced in 1999. The kitchen was gutted and redone with granite counter tops and all natural birch cabinets and an island with a cooktop. Double oven (convection on the top) and microwave. The house was expanded in 2004, with an addition off the main floor that added an area that is 15ft by 42ft long. This added a first floor master bedroom and private full bath. It also allowed us to take the family room and make it into a fantastic great room with a brick fireplace and large palladium window. The hardwood floor is Australian Cypress. The house had 5 bedrooms (4 up and 1 on the main floor). The house features 3 FB and 2 HB's. It has a walkout basement which is finished. There are several beautiful gardens on the property, and the front is shaded by two large silver maples and one oak. Neighborhood Description All the houses on our street are custom built. We have a mix of younger families and people who have lived here a long time. We like to call our neighborhood the Jewel of Montgomery County. The main road by our neighborhood is still two lanes, yet we are close to major highways, shopping and Metro. Most of the lots and nearly an acre, so the houses are not stacked on top of each other. All in all, a great place to live.
