Just before the bridge, on the left is the boat landing servicing Rocky Lake. Your destination is just a mile away. Over the river and thru the woods the tree lined drive is on your left and opens to a clearing with the cottage just on your left. The siding on the cottage will have you wondering - is it pine? A large window in the great room frames views of the lake. This cottage is off the grid and electricity is serviced by 4 solar panels. The kitchen appliances are run by propane. Rocky Lake is a shallow, irregular shaped lake and supports brook trout, brown trout, yellow perch and more. They do not call it Rocky Lake by chance as the lake does have lots of rocks and one needs to be cautious navigating them. Great for kayaking, canoeing and maybe even trolling if you are careful.
