Neihart is just 12 miles away where the famous Bob's bar is located; a place for great burgers and beer after cross country skiing at Silver Crest or downhill skiing at Showdown. The cabin is nestled in Monarch Canyon and is about 45 minutes from White Sulphur Springs home to the Red Ants Pants festival, the White Sulphur Springs hot springs, Two Basset Brewery and Bar 47. This refurbished snug get away is currently located right next to the Monarch Post Office. The cabin has high ceilings with original ceiling boards. It also has the original log structure It's been repainted to a caramel, blending with the red willow false front and the original logs. It was the Bergeron store that was also used as the temporary Post Office from 1964-1967 and was built approximately 100 years ago. The inside is charming, fresh, has a great wood burning stove, a kitchen area, a root cellar and back porch with a rustic chimenea.
