The Cambridge Karma House, LLC has 6 apartments total &, likely becuase of it's prime location in Harvard Square, tends to house folks studying and/or working in academia or to professionals working in the Cambridge-Boston area. Featuring a 2nd fl. deck (looking out to a shared backyard that has patio furniture, a BBQ grill, hammocks & tiki lights!), your potential new home (around 900 sq. ft. & located under 400 feet away from the #1 bus & .4 miles away from Harvard Square MBTA train station(!)), includes a queen-sized bed, 2 nice-sized closets + dresser, full/queen sleeper-futon & twin foam sleeper-sofa, equipped kitchen, desk, all utilities included, laundry in the basement (free!), TV with cable (includes HBO) & high speed internet. Towels, bedding, disposable paper goods, cleaning products & other helpful household items are available to our guests, as are several bicycles that we keep at the property; we aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible, both inside & outside of the house! A note on pets: We welcome well-behaved (ex. no excessive barking; there are 5 other apartments in the house that we rent out to folks who may not welcome these noises!). Also, we ask that our (usually) furry friends either stay off of furniture, or that their caregivers put sofa-covers, etc. so that they can be there! :-) Preferable long term (3+ months) rental but are open to shorter-term rentals as well in either this, or another, unit in the house. Lease required. PRICE RATES: NIGHTLY: $280/night (security deposit: $100) WEEKLY: $1470/week (security deposit: $200) MONTHLY: $5500 (security deposit: $400 + first month) Short term: all utilities included Long term: laundry and wireless included. gas (we use electronic NEST thermostat systems where you can control the heat remotely (from your computer, phone, etc.) and thus keep the bills very low! electricity and cable. Prices are sooooomewhat negotiable...
