Welcome to Liddle Fiddle Farm; a little slice of heaven. Nestled in a quiet glen off of a dirt road, this 10-acre property is supremely private and peaceful. The home is the original 200 year old farmhouse for the propety with thoughtful updates, such as central air, a new pool and a sunroom off of the kitchen. I love living here because it feels like I am on vacation every time I come home. The kitchen features and AGA stove, a double-bay sink, explosed stone walls and a live-edge counter top. I especially love spending time outdoors. There are numerous flower gardens around the property planted with pollinators in mind, as well as a few fancy tulips, lillies and iris, just for fun! There are two ponds; one below the stone ruins of an old spring house and a small frog pond next to the entryway garden. There are two vegetable gardens; a small kitchen garden and a larger raised bed garden. Both have automated irrigation available. There is also established fruit on the propety: peach, apple, blueberry, blackberry, currant and raspberries. The pool and spa were installed in 2019 and are surrounded by a garden where we usually plant sunflowers, zinneas and watermelon. The propety is so private swimming can be clothing optional. Liddle Fiddle Farm is ready for your animals. A horse shed currently houses goats, and has running water and electicity, fully fenced. There is also a chicken coop inside the barn and a tractor coop for the field. The space is half-wooded, with trails for riding, hiking or mushrooming. Deer hunting is also permitted in season, when licensed. The French Creek is within walking distance; a pristine waterway stocked with trout for excellent fly-fishing. My favorite places on the farm are the hammock in the forest, just behind a babbling brook, and the covered porch. This porch looks out into the forest and becomes my office, yoga studio, dining room, living room and wilidlife observation deck. This is a beautiful and unique space you will love! Rent is negotiable based on the tenant's farming and landcare interest, from $2,700 to $4,500. The lease is triple net. This property is fully licensed for agricultural hemp, with established planting fields and a drying barn. A tenant interested in farming could complete the requisite paper work to opeate the hemp cultivation. If you would prefer to relax in the pool and spend your time grilling/riding horses or hiking, services can be arranged for pool care, landscaping and beekeeping at an additional rate.
