We live less than a mile away from the house, and meet all guests on the property in person before giving them access to a date-specific code to the front door keypad, and a key to their bedroom. All bedrooms have locks on doors. As a long-term renter, you will have keys to both to the front door and your bedroom, as well as a full-time code to the front door keypad.
