We have a 20 acre farm about 12 miles north of St. Mary's or about 30 miles west of Topeka with 2800 sq ft living space overlooking and surrounded by scenic rolling hills. We have all new appliances, stainless steel in the kitchen. We have 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, master bedroom has private full bathroom, (the 4th bedroom is in the basement with a private full bathroom, a private living or eating area measuring 13.5x21' that can be used as an in-law apartment, music room, canning room, Covid quarantine quarters or whatever suits your needs). We have an office area, 2 living rooms, large laundry room with deep sink, wood burning stove which comes in handy during winter/blizzard power outages, dining room, newly renovated kitchen with garbage disposal and an eating area with bay window that overlooks green pastures occupied by hundreds of grazing cattle. We have a play area for kids in the finished basement measuring 13x11'. No carpet throughout the house other than our personal throw rugs, instead we have bamboo floors (which are better in quality & durability than wood floors) and/or ceramic tile. We also have a whole house water filtration system. We've added an 8x11' cold cellar/storm shelter attached to the basement. We have 3 LARGE out buildings with water & electricity running to each out building and all across our property to water animals at a distance and provide lighting in the evening or early morning. Our largest primary pasture is 15 acres fully fenced with corral panels for sectioning off a corral pen in addition to a pond, dock for fishing and a canoe. The north side of our house is lined with tall mature trees to block cold winds in the winter. We have MANY tall, beautiful mature trees throughout the property, half a dozen fruit trees (peach, apple, pear & plum), a horseshoe driveway, and a 2 car garage with a workbench & large locker for additional food storage. The 30x40' steel shed has large 8' built in cabinets & large workbenches. It also fits a 33ft travel trailer with custom, oversized garage door to fit tall equipment. The yard has a playhouse standing over a sandbox (providing some shade) and a swingset. Attached to the side of the house is an 11x21' sunroom/greenhouse w/ large 4 man jacuzzi tub and finally an above ground pool (optional), a 12-20' deck and a 10x11' cement pad in back of house and 2x500 gallon propane tanks. Our tractor with half a dozen large farm implements, a custom made hay dolly to move 1000lb hay bales, 8 ft large steel storage lockers & large tool benches in workshop, riding lawn mower, mobile chicken tractor, chickens, ducks, border collie guard dogs, goats, dairy/meat sheep, 6 beef cattle and a milking cow, an 1100 gallon water tank we use to collect rainwater, 2 extra refrigerators, livestock trailer, 5 rabbit hutches and more will be available for sale separately. Our extended neighborhood is very friendly and everyone helps each other out. All the properties surrounding our farm are cattle pastures and not crop fields using chemical sprays. FYI; The one out building is a steel insulated shed with roughed in plumbing measuring 30x40', the 2nd steel shed is a NEW shed measuring 25x25' and the barn measures 40x15'. We've raised cattle, sheep, goats, swine, chickens, ducks, geese and even an alpaca. Much love and hard work has gone into making this farm a home we love but we have decided to move closer to family and begin again elsewhere.
