Free room in exchange for Volunteering! We offer a unique opportunity to be of service to animals in exchange for a large free room, furnished with a shared bathroom, kitchen, and living- and family room. Utility costs will be shared with one other occupant. A $500 deposit is required for broken, damaged, or lost home goods, furniture, or unpaid cost of utilities. The home is about 1900 sqft and located in Aurora, Mission Viejo. It is one block from Mission Viejo Park and has excellent walking trails throughout the neighborhood. Very close to shopping and RTD. These dogs and cats belong to a rescue organization! We prefer a long-term commitment and are looking for someone who will be of value to the animals with their love and compassion, have patience, and thrive to make a difference. Knowledge of animal welfare, training, and veterinary care is a plus. The individual must be reliable, trustworthy, and attentive to the needs of up to five cats and three dogs at a time. Daily chores are shared with another volunteer, they include socializing, feeding, and cleaning, and some administrative assistant work. A total 3 hours a day, five days a week.
