Cozy 1930s Lake Grove cottage with lake easement access on a quiet circle street off South Shore Blvd. This house is available mid to late January for a 6-month lease for non-smokers, no pets. There is a fenced backyard, wood-burning fireplace, gas heating and appliances, hardwood floors throughout, and a large kitchen with granite countertops. There is a large unfinished basement with a workbench - possible space for storage, crafts, or workshop. The half sun/half shade backyard feels very private and includes a deck for eating outside. There is a mature apricot tree, rainier cherry tree, and a blueberry bush. Our previous long-term tenants achieved a gold level backyard bird habitat certification under the auspices of the Portland Audubon Society. They planted many native plants and we hope to find tenants interested in birds, and in generally maintaining the habitat. The neighborhood is very safe and great for kids, and the Lake Oswego school district has a strong academic reputation. There's a bus stop right on the corner as well as a bike/pedestrian path along South Shore. This is a comfortable home with some renovations, but it's not modern or fancy.
