Our dad and mom built this home and raised three daughters with family all around. The wood ceiling w big beams and huge windows set it apart from so many homes. You always enjoyed nature whether you were inside or out. Only 5 minutes from 422 it was convenient to get to most places but still enjoyed country living. It’s far from the road so it was safe, had a great yard for playing tag, kick the can and sled riding along with a nice long driveway for riding bikes. We caught salamanders and crayfish in the small creek behind the house. The extended front deck hosted many parties and picnics. My parents had landscaped w trees and flowers which really beautified the place but have since been taken out. When mom was older she was able to live primarily on the first floor w no stairs except to the laundry room. We are very proud of the home they built; lots of love went into it. It truly is a great place to live.
