Our home is 28'x42' with a 13 1/2'x21' kitchen which was an addition in 2006. The kitchen has 3 walls of windows and custom made, natural finish oak cabinets. It is a step down kitchen with 3 steps down from the dining room. There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor, along with the dining/living room, bathroom, and sunroom that faces the lake. The basement has 2 bedrooms, along with a 3/4 bath/laundry, as well as a family room, furnace room, storage room, and small work room. We have a beautiful view of the lake from our home and the decks that wrap around 2 sides of the house. We have rural water, a private well that is 200 ft. deep, and private sewer system. We have a dual heating system which is both electric and fuel oil. It is an off peak heating system and the house is very easy to heat. Our house sits on one of the few privately owned lots on this lake. The taxes run $510.00 per year. Yes, that's right! $510.00 per year!!!! Neighborhood Description We are on the local school but route. This is a nice, quiet, country type area which has lake activity in the summer <swimming, boating, and fishing> but we live in a quiet neighborhood. There are 5 families who live in our area year round. Very good neighbors! The road is well maintained.
