From a private deck, look out on a yard with many trees, birds and open space. The 555 square feet studio includes a large living area with a well-appointed kitchenette, a separate sleeping area with a comfortable sofa bed, a walk-in closet, and a bathroom with a shower/bath, two sinks and cabinets for ample storage. The studio is below the main house, which is occupied by the owners. All utilities (electricity, gas, water, trash, heating and cooling) are included in the monthly rent of $2,250 for one tenant (our preference) or $2,500 if two renters share the studio. The renter is responsible for personal internet service, . Access to laundry is not provided on site but is available nearby. Off street parking on the driveway is provided for one vehicle. No pets are allowed. Owners pays for all utilities including water, gas, electricity and trash and maintain the garden. The renter is asked to sweep the private entry deck and communicate with the owners know if anything needs fixing in the studio. Renter is responsible for setting up and paying for personal internet service; this is easy to arrange at the Xfinity office in Santa Cruz. The renter is expected to to take out rental insurance. Monthly rent is due on the first day of each month. Owners request that have rent be deposited don the first day of each month electronically. No smoking or vaping is permitted in the studio or on the property. This twelve month lease may be extended if both parties (renter and owners) agree. The studio is located below the main house. Keeping the noise level down after about 10 pm is expected.
