Walk/bike everywhere: organic produce market, cafes, restaurants, bakeries, Whole Foods, bagel store, retail stores, markets, two parks with playgrounds. Near everything but QUIET STREET (our block ends a few houses down). Two minute walk to the bus that goes to UC Berkeley (or walk/bike to the University of California). Six minute walk to BART or drive in 2 minutes (train to SF in 20 minutes, both airports, Oakland in 10 minutes, one stop to UC Berkeley). House is really easy to live in, all on one level. Deck overlooking the yard, right off the kitchen, so all your meals can be outside on the table on the deck or below on patio in the yard. Sunny dining room table is a great place to work, or two of the bedrooms have desks to work on. Hardwood floors, big kitchen, relaxing living room. Great rental for visiting scholars, grandparents visiting family, if you are moving to the area and need a place to live while you relocate, maybe need a place while you remodel, a great house for an extended stay in the Bay Area or a vacation. ONLY May 21, 2022 to June 17, 2022. 2 week minimum. Parking is easy: long driveway and street parking with NO permits needed (rare in Berkeley) and always lots of street parking. You'll be responsible for gas and electric and water. Since this is our home, you'll have everything you need: fully equipted kitchen, linens, towels, game closet, books, etc. etc. It's really comfy.
