Unwind at our "shabby chic" getaway in the city. Tucked into the first floor of our quaint, artist-friendly house, this one bedroom apartment is just minutes from downtown, UAB and the Vulcan trail. Enjoy the comfort and privacy of a bedroom with queen size bed, bathroom with tub-shower, kitchenette, dining areas and reading nook in Birmingham's beautiful Southside neighborhood. Air conditioning is available via window units. Heating is available via central furnace plus additional portable electric radiators and a wall-mounted gas heater. The lovely seating area on the front porch is available for your enjoyment. The backyard is not available for Airbnb guests. Access to the Vulcan Trail, a mostly flat 4 mile/6.4 km out and back is just .3 miles/.5 km from the house. Street parking is free and abundant in front of the house. Wifi password shared on arrival. No tobacco smoke inside the house. No parties or events. Please be mindful of other guests in the house and observe quiet hours between 10pm and 8am. We live in another unit in the house and are available for assistance, but we offer privacy unless otherwise needed. All utilities and Wi-Fi included
