Restored Vintage Country Home 3-Bed, 1.5-Bath and MOUNTAIN AIR! (NOTE: Please email opusmagnumarts@gmail.com rather than call or text, as I am currently living out of service range) This is a very unique and charming home, which I restored all throughout 2020. It has 3 bedrooms, including a very substantial master bedroom with a beautiful view (picture window) looking out into the greenery of the forest and back yard. The house features antique stonework and masonry walls, steps, patios and paths through well trained perennial growth and gorgeous, towering Catalpa, pine and willow trees. There is a full basement as well as lower level garage that has been converted into more basement essentially, but could easily be converted back into an 'under-house garage' (with a staircase leading up to kitchen) – all on a solid smooth slab! The front end of the garage is below a cement front porch with beautiful brick walls, accented by well trained ivy that spreads over the stone wall along the driveway. One of my favorite features is the stone and cement staircase off of the driveway by the mailbox. There are drains built around the edge of the original basement floor to channel out unwanted water. Between the front entry room and the back mudroom/laundry room is a long kitchen with breakfast nook, which also connects to a spacious dining room and living room, both with wide windows for maximum natural light and sharing a mostly open wall between them. The living room has a fireplace with a heat-retaining stone wall surrounding it and bookshelves above. Off of the Dining Room is the study (or library) – a very cute little room with bookshelves and a back door out into the large covered porch in the back. The study could be used as a 4th bedroom or guestroom. Upstairs are three unique bedrooms surrounding the central primary bathroom, which has a back door from the master bedroom. The master bedroom was expanded at some point when a second story addition was built, which more than doubled the space! The room is very large, allowing for a great deal of customization (walk in closet, studio space, expanding the bathroom...). As you can see, I have not quite finished the drywall mudding yet in that room, but you can get a sense of how BIG this room is... I've left some vintage, blue wallpaper up in case you want to keep it... It already has two closets. The other two bedrooms are each unique as well. One has two closets and two windows (facing back yard {with mudroom roof access!} and side yard). This is my own bedroom, so it is pictured full of my things, but I will get some better pics up soon. The other bedroom has one closet and two dormer windows (facing out to street, which gives the entire house a classic, old-time look from the street, right above the living room's bay window...) plus a side yard window. I've included a view from the front dormer window that looks out to the mountains... There is also a hallway closet upstairs, with convenient access to shower plumbing. The stairs connect down to the entryway. The entire house (including stairs) features original hardwood flooring, besides the addition part of master bedroom, and the kitchen which has a brand new linoleum tile floor (very easy to clean and repair!) In the back yard is a private courtyard with a brick fireplace/chimney! There is lawn furniture included as well, for a very pleasant picnic, 'wine and cheese' and/or BBQ zone! Right off of the back porch (under the bedroom addition) and connecting over to the laundry/mud room back door, is a big bluestone patio that stretches back toward the fire pit area.
