Private bedroom available near Eastern Market Washington DC! Per-person lease not whole house. FREE parking spot. House is a renovated row house located just 7 minutes away from the Potomac Ave Metro stop. Current roommates are two 25 year old women who work for the federal government. We are looking for an easy-going and respectful roommate. We love to binge on Netflix and cook together, but also like to enjoy our own space. During the week the house is pretty quite as we are out and about exploring the best that DC has to offer, or chugging bottles of wine at home. Occasionally on the weekends we have friends over to enjoy brunch, watch sports and pretend like the work-week isn't coming. One roommate does have two-cats that love to smother people with love, so preferable a cat-lover without allergies. Main floor is 100% furnished with pullout couch for friends that come to visit, flat screen TV and all updated & modern kitchen appliances. Landlord is an extremely respectful guy who does keep his photography studio in the separate garage. As a thank you, he splits all utilities with tenants which usually comes to $60 a month. Tenant would have entire basement to themselves with a private entrance. REALLY Large room (with windows to add some natural light) also includes a private bathroom with large shower (could fit 6-8 people) including surround sound system and a "steamer." Tenant would share main floor (sitting room, TV room and kitchen with other two roommates.) Room comes with tons of built in storage shelves and features two closets. (Honestly this has been the best place I have lived at in DC and am really sad to move. Owner splits utilities with us as he uses the outside garage for some of his artwork. Utilities are around $55 a month so it is a great deal!
