An older house with character and a good location near the UAB campus, 5 points, downtown, and with Homewood and Mountain Brook just over the mountain. The owner pays for the water and gas, the renter is responsible for power. I have shared internet and tv access in the past or the renter can pay for separate service. The first months rent and a security deposit of the same amount are due upon move in. Small, quiet pets are allowed. The thermostat is on wifi, so the renter may adjust the heat in the winter time through their phone. The front porch is shared and there is a fire pit in the back that is available to use. The owner lives here and we can hear each other, so mutual respect of each other's time and personal space will be needed. There is a carport in the back that can be shared with owner and street parking is also available.
