This home is a manufactured house. Please note that the "HOA dues" listed above are actually a monthly lot rental, not an HOA fee. All homes in the community are owned by the resident(s) to the best of my knowledge and the only person who can change the rules is the landlord, so there's no threat of the neighbors deciding to install an expensive "improvement" and forcing others out of their homes by greatly increasing HOA fees. All homes are fixed to a concrete block foundation and have a crawl space underneath. The houses are well-insulated and my utility bills are low to reasonable. The community is well-kept and quiet, and there is an active resident's association (voluntary membership) that offers a number of activities and trips. There is a well-equipped clubhouse and an outdoor pool. This particular house has a huge kitchen that goes from the inside wall of the front porch to the opposite side of the house. It's sunny and cheerful from late morning until sunset. It includes a "morning room" that can accommodate a small table and chairs. The sheet vinyl flooring is in good condition. The living-dining area also goes from one side of the house to the other and has a pleasant feeling of spaciousness with a slider at the dining room end. The living room has an attractive ceiling fan. Bedrooms are also spacious. There is a coat closet, a walk-in closet in each bedroom, and a generously sized linen closet in the larger bath. The laundry room has a large overhead shelf that can accommodate a lot of laundry products and paper goods. There is also a storage shed to the rear right side of the house which is in good condition. The house roof was replaced in June of 2014 and has a 25-year warranty. The clothes washer, a new Speed Queen, was purchased in April of 2013 and the new Maytag dishwasher was installed in July of 2015. The refrigerator is a freezer-on-the-bottom model in good working order and there is a medium sized chest freezer, also humming along. As of today, 5/22/17, the dryer is still working well (purchased when I moved in in Y2K). and the stove came with the house, a 1993 GE gas stove that has so far proven indestructible. The latter has a new thermostat (about a year old) and is perfectly calibrated.
