Elementary and middle schools are easily walkable! A mile west of the house is the Sanitas trailhead with hundreds of additional trails and mountain access nearby! It is Boulder at its best! We are a few blocks from the bus stops to the University and downtown. Kids love to tube the creek or just hang your feet off of the bridge in the cold water. Deer love to hang out in the yard. The gardens have wonderful walking paths to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Growing Gardens has a farmers market every Wednesday with the organic vegetables grown right next door! The Hawthorn house has light light light - windows everywhere. The house has three bedrooms upstairs including the primary bedroom with king bed, walk-in closet, and master bath. The primary bedroom has a large sunny bay window southeast facing and overlooking the gardens. The primary bedroom has a sliding door that opens to a deck with views of the flatirons and Bear Peak. Two other bedrooms are upstairs each with a queen bed and one additional bathroom. The second floor has new engineered wood floors! The main floor has a kitchen/dining/living great room with open floor plan. There is a new large Trex deck accessed right off of the dining/living room with sitting area, new Polywood dining table and grill! A front porch (also Trex) is a relaxing place for morning coffee and evening drinks! The kitchen has new stainless appliances (induction stove/oven) and silestone countertops.
