This 2-story Colonial Revival home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It serves not only as a home, but served as a bed & breakfast for 10 years (stopped with COVID). The 5 bedrooms are spacious, with closets, ceiling fans and original woodwork. There is a butler's pantry connecting the kitchen to the dining room, plus a food pantry off the kitchen. There is a full bathroom on the 1st and 2nd floors, as well as 1 additional wash sink, both upstairs and down. There is a back stairway leading up to the large upstairs hall and to one of the larger bedrooms. There are 3 additional bedrooms upstairs with adjoining the spacious hallway (which serves as another sitting area). The downstairs bedroom has an adjoining full bath. There is a huge attic over the main house, as well as a smaller one over the kitchen. There is an enclosed rear porch, and a full basement. The large barn, built the same year, provides ample garage and storage space. The current asphalt roof was installed in 2008, as well as a new oil fired furnace for the steam radiator heating system; there are two, 275 gallon fuel tanks that were installed by the previous owner just prior to selling. Most of the wiring was replaced and additional outlets were installed in 2010, at the same time ceiling fans/lights were installed in all the bedrooms, the upstairs hallway, and the kitchen. Replacement pvc, triple-pane windows were installed throughout the house in 2015, matching the original style and colors. The house was last painted in 2020 (original yellow color) and the matching barn and sheds in 2013.
