Lake: Fishing, canoeing, kayaking and bird watching are regular leisure activities for residents; fishing, catching pollywogs, finding turtles, frogs and fireflies entertain the younger crowd. Walking and biking around the lake is a common activity; exploring and picnicking at the nature preserve/bird sanctuary which borders the western shore is a regular past-time of many residents.
