But if all you wish to do is gaze at the constellations this is a good place to hide from the light of cities, or during the day watch distant ships that just crossed the Columbia bar, all while enjoying the serenity of a placid river valley filled with a variety of birds, mammals and fields of Holsteins in the near distance, the Columbia River beyond. House sold for $400,000 in 2008.
