I am looking to sublease my apartment. My roommate and I just renewed our lease and then one of our best friends moved back to Grand Rapids and we need a three bedroom now. Our apartment is in the Beckwith Place Apartment complex conveniently located off of Leonard near the East Beltline. Our apartment is a two-bedroom two bath upper unit although when you enter the building there are only three steps to get to the second floor. The apartment is 960 sq ft with central heat and a/c. There is a coin laundry room and the end of the hall on our floor. It includes a carport with a large storage unit. The complex is pet friendly although there is a one-time deposit along with a monthly fee if you choose to want a pet. You do pay your own gas and electric. The complex bills you for water and sewer for $50 per month. Our lease renewal rate which includes the water and carport is $1325 per month. The current market rent for our apartment is $1512 + the carport and water for a total of $1587. Our rate is fixed until the end of the lease which is 6/7/26. There is $0 Security Deposit. You do have to be approved through the apartment complex, and they charge a $50 application fee per applicant. To be approved, they look for applicants to be earning 3x the rent and have a minimum credit score of 600. The complex allows a maximum of 4 occupants with a maximum of 3 adults.
