The bedrooms do not have doors on them. The upstairs bedroom (steep stairs with no landing) has a slanting roof. The record says built in 1931, but actually, it was a work in progress. My grandfather bought the lot in the mid 1920´s. It was just prairie, with no trees. The house was a two room shack. Over the years, he added a bedroom, bathroom, the upstairs, a utility room and a sun porch. He turned the chicken coop in the back yard into a rock "house", with two rooms. My son is currently renovating that, and we hope to get the plumbing fixed so that it can again have a toilet, sink and shower.
