House has two kitchens (a chef's kitchen upstairs and a standard kitchen downstairs) and may be rented as 1 unit or split amongst friends/family and rented as 2 units. Will also consider renting just 1 floor for the right person. Dates and pricing can be flexible for highly qualified applicants.
About the Home:
This home is fully furnished and was remodeled down to the studs in 2021 with high-end finishes. There is a fireplace on each floor for cozy fall/winter nights. Enjoy cooking Thanksgiving in the gourmet chef's kitchen, with a high-end Thermodor stove and seating for 11+. The home has the utmost comfort, including new Serta mattresses and blackout curtains. Walk to some of the best restaurants in the area such as Woods Bay Wine and the Bonfire. There is high-speed wifi to work from home. In addition to the house, there is a bunkhouse which could be used as an office if desired, negotiable. There is 65 feet of private lake access. In the fall/winter/spring, the lake will be low and you can walk along the lakeshore from the private dock. You may use the kakak and paddleboards if desired.
This is my private lake house, and also a 5 star Airbnb in the summer. I rent it at cost in the winter. The last two years, I have rented this to people who were moving to the area and looking to buy a home or in the process of building a home and that has worked out very well. I can offer significant flexibility in move-in / move-out date for the right applicant. I would like to rent it for a minimum of 5 months.
Fully Furnished to the Highest Standards:
You will have everything you need to feel right at home, and no detail has been overlooked. Amenities include a fully-stocked kitchen (Kruig, coffee grinder, Instapot, juicer, etc), spa bathroom with rainfall shower, clawfoot tub and heated bidet/toilet seat, comfortable couches and fireplace, and more. The decor is authentic to Montana, showcasing Montana history, artists and artifacts. All of the furniture in the house is brand new with the exception of some carefully curated vintage items.
Pets:
I will consider one large/medium dog or up to two small dogs. No cats or other animals, please. There is a fenced front and back yard.
Size and Layout:
The house is 2600+ SF and has 3 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 laundry rooms, 2 electric fireplaces and 2 walk-out decks.
Technically, although the home flows as one house, it is possible to split this home into two units. The upstairs has a large kitchen, livingroom, and bathroom as well as two bedrooms. The downstairs has a smaller kitchen, a large livingroom, and a bathroom. There are washer/dryers on both floors. The upstairs and downstairs and connected by an entry hall and staircase. I will consider renting just the upstairs for the right applicant if they do not need the full space and can offer a slight discount in that case. The last tenants had adult children who would ocassionally visit them in the downstairs apartment. I can offer some flexibility for these kind of scenarios.
Convient and Walkable:
The home is walking distance to great restaurants like Woods Bay Wine, The Bonfire, Raven, Sitting Duck, etc. Papa's Market is also walkable. The community in Woods Bay is extremely friendly. It is close to many recreational activities, including hiking (5 min), downhill skiing (45 min), and snowmobiling (just down the road). Eight minutes to Bigfork Village, which is absolutely charming in winter.

Will be vacant and available for showings Sept 17. Potential showings at other times may be possible but limited.

Required cleaning every other month: You set the date to your liking. I do this to keep the our cleaning team employed in the slow season and ensure the house remains well cared for.

One dog will be considered with a pet fee. There is a fenced yard.
Absolutely no smoking, cigarettes or 420 anywhere on the property. If you, anyone in your group, or anyone who visits regularly is a smoker, this is not a good fit for you.
There is ample parking for 4+ vehicles.
