Lavender Hill Bungalow rests on three gently sloping acres. Built in 1937 by nostalgic city dwellers, it was a weekend retreat among the hills of early Fallbrook. There are c 1400 feet of total habitable square footage: two bedrooms; two baths; laundry; two auxiliary rooms suited for study, office, studio, or additional bedrooms. Outdoors, there is ample room for vegetable gardening. Cats are welcome; no dogs, large or small. Lavender Hill is shaded by olive, jacaranda, and mimosa, and there is an orchard of thirty citrus trees. A few vintage oaks and pecans dominate the arboreal landscape. Lavender Hill Bungalow is close to the center of Fallbrook but secluded and safe with eight foot timber framed gates in an eight foot masonry wall. Renter pays utilities including electricity, propane, and water in house. Owner supplies exterior water for garden. Owner pays for refuse and recycling. No use of pesticides , herbicides, or other toxins inside the house or outside. Rent due on the first day of the month or before. Penalty for late payment is $100 per day. Owner will inspect the premises inside and out every six months.
