This is the Foster N. Gunnison House (c. 1892), designed by the prolific and notable Providence architect Frederick E. Field. This stately Victorian is located in the Elmwood Historic District of Providence, Rhode Island. It is a cross-gable 2-1/2 story L-plan late Queen Anne residence, with a small Tuscan-column door porch. Gunnison was a foreman at the Rumford Chemical Works.
