The Church is a focal point for community meetings, and has a walking trail and playground for the church and neighborhood to use. Wislhire Park is within walking distance of grocery stores, the library, banks, restuarants, and other churches. Drive time to downtown Asheville is 10 minutes, Asheville Mall - 20 minutes, Biltmore Square Mall - 20 minutes. Sister's of Mercy Urgent Care is located two blocks from the Park entrance.
