This duplex has been an oasis for me in the past years. Located in North Asheville near Elk Mtn Rd, it is a nice blend of feeling close to town while also being tucked into an enclave of homes that creates a quiet, safe space. Built in 2004, the home is properly insulated which helps keeps the utilities bills low and the inside nice and serene. The layout makes the 840sq ft apartment feel spacious, thanks to the multiple closets and a pantry in the kitchen. With a fenced in yard, a small, well behaved pet is welcome. The home has an east/west orientation, so you get to watch the sunrise in the kitchen and set to the west in the living room, which is something that I really enjoyed when I lived there. Rent is $1600 month and the security deposit is the same amount. If you have a pet, the security deposit will be an additional $500. Both deposits are refundable and as a homeowner, I want nothing more than to give you back the deposit in full at the end of your stay. It makes life easier for us both.
