Certain types of pets, such as monkeys, ferrets, snakes, rabbits, livestock, reptiles, and certain dogs, are not allowed. Restricted dog breeds include some Terriers like Pit Bull, American Bull Dog, Tosa Inus, German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Presa Canarios, Fila Brasileiros, Argentine Dogos, Akitas, Doberman Pinscher, Alaskan Malamute, Bull Mastiff, Wolf Hybrids, and all mixes of these breeds, or any dog over fifty pounds. A non-refundable pet charge or increased deposit and a monthly charge are required when a pet is acquired. Pets with a history of biting are not permitted. You are responsible for personal injuries or property damage caused by the pet and must indemnify the property against any resulting loss or liability. No more than two pets are allowed per unit. Pets must be restrained during maintenance service calls and must be taken outside for toilet purposes. You must clean up after your pet, and a fine will be charged for non-compliance. Pets are not allowed in common areas except to enter or exit the building and must be on a leash at all times when outside the unit. Pets are not to be tied or staked outside the apartment, and balconies should not be used for extended pet stays. Patios must be kept clean of pet waste, and pet food should not be left outside for long periods. If a dog's barking becomes a constant issue, the tenant will be asked to mitigate the disturbance or face possible eviction. The pet rest area on the roof is for approved pets only and must be cleaned after each use.
