It's two blocks from the Meridian Hill park, Harris Teeter, Safeway, Giant, Best Way, Target, CVS are all just blocks away. There are plenty of restaurants and entertainment nearby, yet this building is located in a safe, relatively quiet neighborhood, away from all the troubles. The most important thing is that it has quick access to Rock Creek parkway, giving you a quick escape route out of DC, which has been a huge blessing for us over the years.
