"Spruce Wood" is a beautiful 4 Bed 2 Bath home located on historic 3rd Avenue and in a great location - short walking distance to downtown, Animas River/river trail, close to Fort Lewis College, and multiple hiking/biking trails. Living/dining area, kitchen, two bedrooms and both bathrooms are on the first floor. The remaining two bedrooms are on the second floor. The laundry room and storage room are in the basement (no livable space in the basement). There is a one bedroom apartment off of the basement (located below the first floor bedrooms). There is no access between the two units so safety and privacy is not a concern. We ask both units to respect each others space, and like in apartment settings, we enforce "quiet time (i.e. no loud music)" after 10:00pm. First month rent and security deposit due prior to move in. Applications/background checks must be completed through Zillow for all persons over 18 years old. No first-time renters. No students. No parking is available on the premises, though there is ample free street parking in front of the house.
