    The current owner was having the property prepared for building a home but recently decided not to proceed. However, the driveway was cut in and permit fees were paid to the Town. A new permit for a similar home would still run a new owner about $15,700 and includes the water and sewer tap fees. The property consists of over half an acre, is easily walkable and all survey stakes are easily found. Note the tax rolls show the address as 107 Chicory Lane but the property should be identified as 1463 Pine Ridge Rd. The old permit showed 1465 but once a house is built the actual postal address of 1463 Pine Ridge Rd will be valid. There is no legal access from Chicory Lane. Owner has invested over $90,000 for the lot, plans, permits, etc. It will have a great view of Buckeye Lake and mountains beyond once built out and is within walking distance to Shane Park (currently still under reconstruction due to Helene damage), close to Buckeye Recreation Center and back way out of town via Buckeye Creek Rd. and only a 10 minute drive to Beech Mountain Ski Resort. City water, sewer and garbage pickup, electricity and internet services are available. The town also maintains the roads all year long, including snow plowing and removal of trees if they go down in the road.
