We've got a two bedroom unit at 14th and Lowell for rent, it will be available May 1st. It's a five minute ride from Lodo, a mile from the Highlands Square and Lohi, three blocks from Sloan's Lake. The light rail stop is two blocks away. SeedStock Brewery is sixty feet away. Coffee shop 80 feet away. Alamo drafthouse a few blocks. Little Man ice cream factory 5 blocks. Illegal Pete's coming in Fall, five blocks. O'Dell brewing is four blocks. Edgewater marketplace just a stroll around the lake to cool new bars and restaurants. This location is 20 mins closer to the mountains than Cap Hill. You're 5 mins off 6th Ave. This is not a roommate style unit, sorry. All stainless and granite, lots of exposed brick. Jacuzzi Whirlpool bath in the bathroom. It's all new, plumbing, electric, you name it. We use deeper paint colors, so it doesn't feel like the corporate white that we're all used to. The layout is modern, with a good sized bedroom, a small office with French doors, great trimwork, remote controlled ceiling fans, a whole house evaporative cooler (air conditioning), dishwasher, tankless water heater with endless hot water and a 96% efficient new furnace. Front load stacked washer and dryer included, and hardwood floors throughout, no gross carpet. There is a basement with lots of storage, and the finished laundry room/office/flex room area also has plenty of storage, room for bike storage, etc. The outside is not pretty. We buy ugly buildings, period, and sink a bunch...I think this one was $80,000...into the remodels. The front porch is hysterical, and although it's on a fairly short list to complete, it is not finished. Do a Google Street search if you want to check it out. It ugly. There is a small private, fenced yard if you have a pup, with a fireplace, string lights, table and chairs. No more walking the pooch three times a day. No pet rent, but definitely a fully refundable pet deposit. If you are a good pet owner, we'll happily, happily give it back. If you're one of those lovely people that thinks their dog is their life partner and doesn't understand why everyone doesn't get why your dog eats the blinds everywhere you go, we aren't going to get along. Dogs don't train themselves. Gas and electric are billed specifically to this unit, so on you. Everything is LED, tankless water heater, and a 95% furnace, so utilities cannot possibly be lower. If you see this, it is STILL AVAILABLE. I will remove it the second I have a lease. Please feel free to call or email any time. I suppose shoot me a text if you don't like talking. This house is 100% non smoking. Smokers, you stink. And your hair is gonna be yellow. If you smoke cigs, please, DO NOT CALL ME. You will be a part of a mr*dr if you smoke inside this house. Guess which part. I don't mind the pot thing, mostly because the tar doesn't stick to everything, but don't forget to go to work.
