This one-bedroom is fully furnished with comfortable furniture and a stocked kitchen. Full bathroom, sunny, sweet kitchen, living room views the lake. Linens are not included. We supply Starlink and water. The tenant will be responsible for propane, electricity, trash, and any needed snow removal. The first month's rent is due as soon as a lease is signed and we ask for a two-month security deposit ($1,600) when the lease begins. The porch connects with a deer trail down to the private shoreline. We have two cabins on a 1/3 acre lakefront parcel. About you: We are looking for ONE person (no exceptions) with good credit, work, and rental references. No smoking. We are on a septic system and need to be gentle on the system, so only one tenant. Durango is a 30-minute drive in the summer, and extra time must be accounted for commuting to work with snow. The 501 (the major road) is plowed, but the clearing of the dirt road is maintained by people in the neighborhood (including you). All-wheel or four-wheel is required, and snow tires may be helpful. Ideally, you enjoy solitude, quiet, and time surrounded by nature. To pass the time, you may take to winter fishing, hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing (there is a well-maintained Nordic Track at the lake), and cozying up with a great book.
