The Lakeside Lodge is a truly lovely home with custom log furnishings in a cabin-style motif that sits on 3 tranquil lakefront lots. This mountain home is surrounded by towering pines and beautifully appointed with warm woods and leather. Our lakehouse is not fussy or pretentious, but has a feel of rustic, casual elegance. The majority of the bedrooms have direct access to decks with lake views. There is also an amazing 8 person "bunk room" set up for the kiddos, but perfectly acceptable for adults as well. It has sturdy log bunk beds with standard mattresses/box springs. The main floor master has en-suite, walk in closet and access to deck. This room features a one-of-a-kind custom crafted king-sized log bed that is breathtaking. Enjoy the large kitchen and outdoor grill to prepare big family meals. There is both breakfast nook and counter seating in the kitchen, a large dining room and outdoor tables on the expansive elevated covered deck ensuring that you will have plenty of room for entertaining no matter what the weather. You can also take casual meals down at the sunning platform on the water, or on the beach or dock. There is plenty of room to spread out and relax while the kids run around the property to fish or go frog hunting, swim on private sandy beach or head out on the water for some lake time! Adults will appreciate the stunning views from the private cove onto Hayden Lake with relaxing lakeside lounge chairs just waiting for you to settle into. Be sure to check out the large stone fire pit for everyone's favorite - s'mores ... or grab a guitar and a glass of wine to sit beside the fire on a romantic chilly night. Lakeside Lodge is situated as a private sanctuary free from the prying eyes of neighbors, but not so isolated that you feel totally remote...or so that the children can't make some new friends. There is ample parking, and dock space for your boat and water toys. Public boat launch is conveniently located just a few minutes away. You are within a short distance from the town of Hayden for shopping and supplies, and nearby Coeur d'Alene with it's incredible restaurants and nightlife. This ideal location provides easy access to so much to choose from: world-class golfing, para-sailing, dinner cruises, sea plane excursions, boats and jet skis, fishing, festivals, spas, wine tasting, theatre, boutique shopping and list goes on-and-on. The property is being rented until late May, it must be vacated before Memorial Day as it will then be converted to a vacation rental. It is being rented fully furnished. All utilities are included (including internet) except trash, tenant must deal with trash on your own. Owner pays all utilities, including internet, except for trash. Tenant is responsible for trash.
