My house is located in the desirable Twinbrook community that is nice and quiet and very nice to walk through. Located 1.5 miles from the Metro is an easy walk. Great schools, plenty of stores for groceries and shopping, unbelievable restaurants close by, the infrastructure of walking and biking trails is amazing, and with the Metro so close D.C. is convenient also.
