We are looking for a friendly, responsible and clean housemate to share our spacious and comfy urban jungle home with! If you like a cozy home with luscious plants, this is the place for you :). Our housemate recently moved out so her room is available. The bedroom has high ceilings, wooden floors, a tall window and decent sized closet. Our home has 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, a full kitchen, living room with fireplace, balcony and shared backyard. We are located in West Oakland near Mandela Parkway, and within a few miles of Trader Joe's, Home Depot, Target, IKEA and Nordstrom Rack. We are two girls (age 28 and 35) who identify as WOC and we speak another language fluently. We are full-time professionals (one of us works in marketing research and the other works in mental health). Our weekdays are generally peaceful and quiet as we both WFH due to the pandemic. When we are not working, we enjoy music, art, gardening, cooking, culture and traveling. We are passionate about social issues (BLM, immigrant rights, women's issues, LGBTQI rights) and we'd like to find someone whose social views align with ours.
