PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING FURTHER
This may seem like a steal and it really kind of is, however, there are a couple things to consider before deciding you might be a match for our home:
1. 1 bathroom, 3 people. That means 2 other people will have to go pee and shower before work at 6am-7am, Mon-Fri. Do you have the patience and respect to deal with that?
2. No central healing or cooling. There is an AC/Heating unit in the living room but it's an old Victorian home. That means cold winters, hot summers, thin walls, creaky ceilings, and rattling windows.
3. Limited storage. The rooms are decent sized for 1 person, hence the desire to split the 3rd room for storage. I'm open to a single person renting both rooms. Message me if that is your intention.
4. We are 420 friendly, you dont have to be and it wont effect your eligibility. We also have a sweet old dog, and 1 yo cat. Pets are welcome if they get along with them.

THE HOME:
Looking to fill 1.5 rooms in our Victorian-style Midtown home. This 2 story-house was built in 1891 and is apart of the "Lettered Streets" historical buildings of Sac. We occupy the downstairs portion.
THE ROOMS:
Both available rooms are 11x9 with step-in closets. One bathroom, with 2 sinks. Washer/dryer/dishwasher in the unit.
Rent is $525 a month per room and there is a $525 deposit per room. The landlord also is now asking for last months rent so that would be an extra $525 per room.
The thing is: we are hoping to actually rent out a room and a half, sharing the middle room for storage/guest room. Which would make the rent:
$787.50 - rent for 1.5 rooms
$787.50 - last months rent
$787.50 - deposit
Total: $2362.50 to move in
THE TENANTS:
We are a couple that both have full time jobs and a sweet and quiet dog and new cat. We enjoy making music & art, playing video games, and watching anime.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking to fill the room and a half with one person. Please be respectful, clean & tidy, and above all, able to communicate clearly with housemates. If you do end up moving in we'll discuss and agree on some basic, common sense 'house rules' and what we all expect from someone we're sharing a home with. Steady employment is also an obvious ask. Animal lovers are encouraged to apply!
THINGS TO CONSIDER:
Having friends over is totally okay, but with respect to the pandemic, regular guests should be limited... atleast until the world returns to normal. And just a heads up on guests is always appreciated.
RENT IS PAID between the 24th-27th of each month. Yes. We pay early every month. We have never missed or been late on a payment and don't want to start anytime soon!! Please have your finances in order.
We handle internet/smud/pg&e ourselves and the bills are split evenly between tenants each month. Typically $30-50 per month.
Pets are okay, but they must be fine with our pup and cat, so we'd arrange a meeting of the 2 before consideration.
